Another cool feature is that of photograph locations throughout the map that when touched display a viewpoint from the original Xbox game. This is quite nifty as it allows you to match up with your television and see exactly what has been improved for the Anniversary edition. It’s also said that backgrounds for key players have been written and are viewable upon meeting them, but I was unable to find how to access these. A title update will be supposedly be released on launch day, so perhaps they will become easier to find then. The only real negative of the experience is that it doesn’t show the NPCs that can be interacted with on the map. Unfortunately, this makes it so you can’t rely solely on your tablet/smartphone, which is a bit of a bummer.
Of course, I did not have the time nor the patience to get through every single game that came out this year. That means some notable releases like Resident Evil 2, Gears 5 , and DualShockers ‘ Game of the Year Judgment did not make my list. Some great games were also just barely beat out, but I’d still recommend Ape Out, Baba is You, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat 11 if you are looking for a good time. There were many secrets to discover in Albion, which was necessary to pad out the game. The main story campaign was short by RPG standards, so having optional side quests and secrets added value to the title. Demon doors would have treasures such as legendary weapons if you could solve the riddle to open them and there were many silver keys scattered across the land they were needed to open silver treasure boxes. They may have have fixed this in the subsequent reissues of Fable, but in the original Xbox version there was a glitch to get unlimited silver keys. This worked by getting a key, doing a hero save but not a world save and then load the file. The character will have the key in their inventory and the key will be waiting to be collected in its original spot.
I’d rather play a 30-hour RPG 4 times than a 120 hour RPG one time. The Outer Worlds seems to understand that mentality and delivered an experience that can be quite diverse depending on one’s character build and choices. It was just barely edged out of being my game of the year and is certainly a must-play for those who have ever remotely enjoyed an RPG at some point in their lives. Looking further back, players will also notice a variety of long-necked dinosaurs, likely Brontosaurus. These towering herbivores are present early on in playthroughs of ARK , but thanks to their docile nature they don’t typically pose a threat. Next to the T-Rex, this is likely one of the most recognizable dinosaurs to the average person, so it makes sense that it would be included in the trailer. From this distance it is hard to tell, but it could also be a Diplodocus, a less recognizable dinosaur but still included in the original ARK. These herbivores are incredibly playful, often pushing players around and dealing more damage than they real
While Sony’s focus will be on those four titles, the company is also expected to highlight some other games, with Dreams from Media Molecule confirmed for the show. It’s likely that Sony has some surprises up its sleeve as well, so PlayStation enthusiasts should be sure to tune

Technically, Nintendo has only confirmed two games it will be showing at E3 this year, those being the already-released Splatoon 2 and the in-development Super Smash Bros. However, it would be surprising if Nintendo didn’t use E3 as a time to shine a spotlight on Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee as well, though it’s important to note that those games aren’t confirmed for E3 at the time of this writ
After escaping the T-Rex and the enemy clan, Vin Diesel and his group find themselves in a ruin full of technology . Of note, the child in the trailer examines a rock with several carvings on it. Though this mural certainly doesn’t confirm any dinosaurs, it should be said that there are several on it that didn’t show up in the trailer. Aside from the T-Rex and Brontosaurus which already had spotlights, there are at least three other dinosaurs shown that aren’t yet accounted
The combat mechanics played a big part in creating an enjoyable game, but a lot of the fun came from just exploring the world and seeing what sort of trouble one could get into. The goal of the hero was to gain fame, which was measured by their renown which was acquired by completing quests and the reaction of the NPCs was determined by the character’s alignment, which was also influenced by their actions. Good characters would seem to develop a bright aura around them and a halo, while evil characters would grow horns and attract pestilence. The NPC behaviors weren’t quite as unique as early claims from Project Ego days would have you believe, but they did react based on those factors, though just about everyone gave the same reaction based on the hero’s current renown and alignment.
