Almost every random interaction in RDR2 spirals off into some incredible mini-task or goes on to reveal a bit of valuable information. This palm-sized killer is a rare Cattleman’s revolver that’s perfect for hunting small and medium sized animals. It’s the prized gun of Flaco Hernandez, a gunslinger defeated in a duel at Cairn Lake with a capacity of six rounds. The gun can only be obtained through a successful completion of the Gunslinger Mission and if you don’t pick it up next to your rival’s body, the gun will later not be unlockable. It’s a delicate little silver gun and you’ll only have one chance to get it, but it’s worth dueling Flaco until you can get the better of
There’s a ledge pathway between two peaks that you should follow. It’s very narrow, but super obvious that it leads somewhere. At one point, you’ll have to drop down to a ledge below you. If you make it to another ledge across from that one, the treasure will be in an alcove beneath the rocks above

Geology for Beginners is a stranger mission given to you by the maybe time-traveling Francis Sinclair, who tasks you with finding various rock carvings. Unlike the dreaded dinosaur bones which take forever, this is over in no time at all. After finding just one carving, you are paid $10 (and a bottle of bourbon). And after five, you are given a rock statue which can be sold to a fence for $50. All told, you are given a cool $60 after finding just five rock carvings, which shouldn’t take very long (provided you use a guide.) Plus you get to see all the trippy engravings, so it’s a win-
