The moment players begin deploying inhibitors and damaging the spores, zombies and special enemies will spawn and begin to defend the area. Players will need to be prepared to hold the area while waiting for the inhibitors to destroy the protective shell, or run in a coordinated pattern with squadmates – be careful not to lead a train of zombies directly in the path of a teammate! A single inhibitor will t ake a few moments to destroy the shell , but multiple inhibitors can be deployed to decrease the waiting time . If three squadmates are able to simultaneously deploy inhibitors on the same spore, the shell will be destroyed almost immediately, allowing the spore to be completely destroyed in less than five seconds.
